Jeff Klinger, founder of Anytime Fitness, sold the first unit personally in 2002, and grew the company from a staff of 1, to a conglomerate of companies in numerous industries with hundreds of employees. Anytime was in 47 states, 4 countries, and over 1200 stores open, with a new club opening virtually every day.

In December 2009, he sold his interest in the companies. He was honored with the Industry visionary award in 2009, and was a board member of The International Health and Racquet Sport Association.
